The Company:

Temple Allen Industries (www.templeallen.com) is a fast-paced technology firm based in Rockville, MD, just outside of Washington D.C. We pride ourselves on finding and growing talent to allow for employee career advancement.

The successful applicant will work closely with members of management, finance, operations and business development. Your personality, ability to be a team player, and overall fit are critical. Employees who excel at Temple Allen are self-driven, well organized, and can succeed with minimal oversight or direction. All positions are performance-based and, like most small businesses, typical work hours are 8:00 am – 6:00 pm with some weekend work as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Procure necessary materials for projects; work closely with the engineering team to ensure that all items arrive in accordance with the build schedule
  • Organize shipping and receiving of packages and freight
  • Maintain and organize documentation throughout the build process associated with procurement
  • Compile costs/labor hours and bill them to the appropriate budget
  • Proactively manages calendars, schedules meetings and conferences, makes travel arrangements and prepares expense reports
  • Filing and other administrative responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Experience with QuickBooks and the implementation of accounting and finance procedures recommended
  • Strong organizational/communication skills (both written and verbal) required
  • Pleasant and clear phone voice
  • Highly motivated, dependable, responsible, and energetic; able to excel in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight

Compensation:
Commensurate with skills and experience. Pay and performance are reviewed after 3 months and adjustments will be made as appropriate.
