Productivity

One of the ways EMMA™ and SAM™ can help reduce the overall process time of surface preparation is by increasing the productivity of the operator. Due the physically demanding nature of manual sanding, a significant amount of time during a manual surface preparation cycle is taken up with unnecessary “microbreaks.” These microbreaks could include an operator pausing to shake out his arms, adjust his position, or rest, and are an unavoidable element of the manual process. By fully supporting the weight of the surface preparation tools and absorbing all vibration, EMMA and SAM allow for the reduction or elimination of microbreaks. Over the course of an entire shift, the reduction of microbreaks can significantly reduce the overall process time for each part.
